AMERICA’S GREATEST OTAKU – A3K RADIO
American’s Greatest Otaku, Christopher Wanamaker, stops by to share his experience with Tokyopop and Sean Ryan from Method to Madness and Alpha Counter joins us in our showcase segment.

MYSTERY THEME SONG:
Last week we played the most random song of all time. I decided to switch it up and go with anime theme songs instead, after all, this is an anime podcast. The answer for last week’s theme song is in the podcast. To find out the answer for this week’s theme song, make sure to tune in next Friday.

PROMO: BONUS ROUND
We are so excited to have John Paul as the producer for The Bonus Round. Little known fact, John Paul helped produce the first episode of the podcast a few years ago. He’s been off and on with the network, but when he’s on, he’s on. So check out the past two episodes of his handy work. The first episode was a review of Anohana with John Paul and Bradley Meek. The second episode marked the debut of Noel from the Manly Tears podcast on our network.

SPECIAL GUEST: AMERICA’S GREATEST OTAKU
I originally invited Christopher Wanamaker on the program to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. It wasn’t until after our initial interview that I discovered he was the reigning “America’s Greatest Otaku“. Needless to say, I had to turn our previous interview into a glue. Make sure you watch the eight episode series on Hulu and support our friends at Tokyopop. They’ve always been extremely supportive of our network and even though it’s a former shell of itself, Tokyopop still deserves some love. Who knows, maybe we might host the second season on A3K?

PODCASTER SHOWCASE:
We are proud to showcase Sean Ryan in this week’s podcaster showcase. You can listen to Sean each week at his home base on Alphacounter.com. He is also featured on the A3K Network as one of the hosts of Method to Madness, also featured on Alphacounter.com. Now before you roll your eyes, we are not just going to feature A3K contributors. Next week I promise to feature a non-A3K affiliated producer. So if you’re interested in sharing your story, feel free to send us an email at contact [at] anime3000.com. In this interview, Sean Ryan mentions his AniRiff! episode with Cody Baier. Make sure you check that out and let him know what you thought. It’s Garzey’s Wing for goodness sake.
