This review of The Skullman by CJ Hitchcock was originally made for the Bonus Round. We've decided to give a lot of our reviews a first run on the website before distributing it to all of our listeners in our podcast feed. The Bonus Round will serve as a base for both original conversation and discussion as well as a compilation of our best site reviews. With that said, The Skullman series was licensed by Sentai Filmworks and distributed by Section 23 Films. It's a Bones production directed by Takeshi Mori of Vandread and Otaku No Video fame. Weekly Podcast Review:
The Silicon Chickens Project Podcast (Also available on iTunes). This unique, original story-based podcast is the brainchild of Paul Chapman (he of The Greatest Movie Ever Podcast fame). Paul has always struck me as an intelligent and introspective guy with tastes similar to my own and a vast knowledge of literature, film, and generally speaking, good stories. Chapman's original project, Silicon Chickens, is an ongoing series of podcasts featuring his original literary work. Chapman is also well-known podcaster and an occasional contributor to the anime magazine Otaku USA.
