High School DxD

For a year, now, the boys of The Other Side have been threatening to subject themselves to High School DxD, but never had the guts to actually do it. Until now. Yes, the TOS Trio finally bit the bullet and sat through this Ecchi trainwreck. If you ever thought that there was no such thing as too many tits, Cody, max, and Andrew are here to inform you that you are sadly mistaken. Hear all about their experience through this garbage, and how fanservice can get so obnoxious it can destroy your libido. And as a bonus, the guys school you in the correct way to pronounce “anime”, and even hook you up with a feww good things to watch!

I always say animu. Is that bad?

And I know, I know, this has been said before… But why are all of these people still into this shit? And I’m not talking about just ecchi anime or manga, but figures as well. Crap like Ikkitousen has been around for over a decade, it’s still kinda popular. Anime has turned just about every single vapid twat with her stupidly coloured hair into a nearly naked figure. I’m at the point where I can barely even tell them apart, but people keep buying them. Even shit like this sells out instantly: http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2015/08/14-1/life-sized-monster-musume-miia-hug-pillow-sells-out-in-less-than-an-hour

What enjoyment can anyone possibly get from this after more than a decade? Can anime ecchi even sexualize something that they haven’t already? Maybe that’s why people still watch it. I, for one, can’t possibly think of what else they can sexualize.

first, thanks kerberous, i wouldn’t have found this page if not for that comment, it wont appear on the a3k homepage or the TOS main page.
second, i shuddered with horror when i saw that pic, I mean just why would anyone buy that monstrosity.

  • CardinalCrimson

I feel bad for Max because the character he hates the least will probably be the one he hate the most if he ever watches the 3rd season. though I’m sure he’s still safe for season 2.

I’m not even going to post a pic because of how awful it is.

    • Max-Vader

You can’t just hype it up so much and then not show it.

      • CardinalCrimson

ok ok. ill see if i can find a pic from the scene im thinking of, jjust gimme a minute

      • CardinalCrimson

i’m not 100% sure, but i think this is from the scene i’m thinking of
(the pink sparkle one’s a gif, so if you want to you can click it)

      • CardinalCrimson

and here some others i found along the way, just for the hell of it.

        • Max-Vader

In the immortal words of Gordon Ramsay: I was expecting more.

          • CardinalCrimson

there was worse if i recall correctly, just couldn’t find a screenshot.
though if your just looking to the LN then
            -she has an adult mode
-she proposes to the main guy
-she goes into heat and says i want a baby
-she sleeps in his bed either naked or wearing nothing but a shirt.
-his lap is her personal seat

            that’s all I can remember

          • Max-Vader

            “she has an adult mode”
So she’s a transformer, then. Either way, all of this sort of stuff was already present in the first season, so what you are telling me is about as shocking as a sunrise.

          • CardinalCrimson

i don’t remember her doing that, though i haven’t watched the first season for quite some time.

hmm, aside from that ill try and think of things that although you wouldn’t be surprised because of the type of series, you might not expect(?).

            I’ll try rephrasing that later.

        • Guest

And here I was thinking you were gonna bring up shota DIO . . .

          • CardinalCrimson

            do you mean millicas?

          • Guest

No, Gaspar. The vampire trap that can also freeze time because hurr

          • CardinalCrimson

            oh sorry, forgot about him.
he’s more or less cannon fodder until vol 16(?)
            so I just couldn’t compare the 2,

  • Jarrett Beese

Honestly I can’t get mad at at DxD and not for the reason one would assume. No at this point I’m generally indifferent to Ecchi anime.
It’s not so much the anime It’s the fact that this got a third season and not something that is objectively good like you know Spice and Wolf I mean they have the material hell the series finished its run so why the hell not.
