SYNOPSIS
Heaven’s Lost Property once again descends on the 2GAM crew and unloads one of the biggest anime movie sins it can, while at the same time trying to tell a dramatic story. Jahmere doesn’t make it past 5 minutes and unleashes a tyrade, blasting anime companies for said “sin.” The “movie” is reviewed, Mike forgets names, Jahmere compares the Heaven’s Lost Property franchise to Burger King, and a brand new feature is debuted. All this and more on the 2 Guys and a Mic podcast!

Well, I’ve not read the on but I have read the manga which has ended now, I won’t spoil anything but will say the anime and movie alter some of the plot lines so in curious about how that 3rd season will actually progress. Did not see that ending though.

Also have you ever seen the star driver movie? It played in cinema’s in Japan and it had about 5 minutes of new footage and then the rest was a recap of the 26 episodes and that’s it.

    • Jahmere Durham

A lot of “movies” do that. And I fucking hate it.

Funny you bring up the Alabasta movie for One Piece, because that actually had a unique draw here in the US; it was a preview of the new FUNimation dub cast for One Piece. We got a little of the cast before, but the US release of movie 8 basically served as a preview for a well-dubbed Alabasta arc for English speaking fans.

So FUNimation sorta gave that movie a reason to exist for a little while.

    • Jahmere Durham

      See that makes sense.

I really like the new feature you guys implemented.
