SYNOPSIS
Initial D the 4th stage is a shining example of what makes the series great. Exciting races, great character development, and the right amount of drama. The CGI has improved immensely from the 1st stage, and the focus on the Project D racing team ensure the viewer lots of action packed strategical battles. The music also remains a series staple, providing a heavy dose of Eurobeat in each race. Takumi has grown from a kid who didn’t like driving, to being a man who loves street racing in the 4 years since the 1st stage began. The dialogue is excellent and the ending really makes us look forward to the 5th stages dub release. With the 4th stage however, Initial D is already the best anime racing series of all time.
