SYNOPSIS
The 2GAM crew jumped in headfirst into the wonderful yet, dramatic filled world of shoujo anime in order to review Kimi Ni Todoke. A genuine shoujo, slice of life, romantic comedy that centered around a girl who’s and outcast and can’t make friends. Although the series stays on the traditional path of pairing her up with the storys main lead Kazehaya, it does a great job of showing the viewers that it’s not just a love story, but a genuine tale of a girl growing up and finding the courage within herself to make friends and the advantages of having them.

The result is a wonderfully crafted show that has some really nice heartwarming moments, and still manages to give the viewer that nice punch of Shojo angst even if it’s not as heavy as some other titles out there. Look for our review of the second season when it finally comes out in the States.
