Metrocon is an annual anime convention held in downtown Tampa, Florida since 2003. 2 Guys and a Mic have been going since 2008, and once again braved the blistering Florida summer heat to bring you this recap.

Metrocon’s days could have be broken up in the same fashion as the Spider-Man trilogy. Day 1 was fine but not great, Day 2 was excellent, and Day three was just unnecessary. Add in a total lack of personal hygiene by some of the con goers, a below average dealer’s hall, and humidity that made outside feel like hell’s waiting room, and you had a recipe for mediocrity. On the plus side: Mike did enjoy the Tales panel.
