One Piece Manga and Anime Discussion (8:44 – 33:14)

We have a conversation with Mikey and Superneku from the One Piece at a Time Blog. The point of this conversation is to address the growing concerns of former One Piece fans. We compared the failures of the the 4kids dub and the unsuccessful launch of television licensing of the series. FUNimation is applauded for their attempts at rebuilding the fanbase through their streaming site and DVD releases. We also give a cliff notes version of a One Piece synopsis.

Closing Remarks (33:14 – 35:22)

If you want to contribute to the site, please send us an email at contact [at] anime3000 dot com. We would love to feature your work on a future episode of the Bonus Round. While we love emailing former guests and inviting them to participate in segments, our rolodex is only so big. We would also love to hear feedback. It’s annoying doing twenty plus episodes, only to find out I could be doing something a little differently to make a big difference. If you think the show is just ok, then give us some suggestions to make it your favorite podcast. If you can’t stand us, then I doubt you are listening in the first place. If you think we are doing a fantastic job, then help support us by giving us a small donation. Even if you want to give us a dollar an episode, any little bit helps us pay for our server and hopefully our staff.
