SYNOPSIS
Sengoku Basara finally has its day in the sun on the 2GAM podcast and the end result is one of a pleasant surprise. SB is a neat little show wrapped in action packed battles, with a little drama thrown in for good measure. It won’t shake the foundations of shounen anime, but it will cause the eyes of the viewer to widen in amazement at the battles. The show is reviewed; the guys make fun the main villains drinking habits; “Teach Us Professor Jahmere” returns; the guys joke about a certain character taking an arrow to the knee; Mike shows Jahmere that he has extensive knowledge of Japanese hierarchy; the hosts laugh at the way the horses are ridden in the series; Mike declares his love for Kasuga’s butt; arguments over whether or not Oda belongs on the villains mount rushmore; and Mike declares that he’s an ass man.
