In this episode, our panel dissects various manga companies including Tokyopop and Vertical Inc. We discuss some of the future models of manga distribution, what type of marketing techniques are being used to draw new readings, what changes have manga companies made to counterbalance the economic recession and we also take a look into the future of the industry. For the first time, we actually take questions from our Twitter followers.

PROMOS:
What is Anime 3000?

I originally wanted to put a clip of a zany movie or retro commercial. I went back and forth for several minutes before deciding to create this promo. I will try to make a new promo each week and then put them on our site for you to use.

iPhone App:

This of course is a parody of a real iPhone commercial. We submitted our iPhone application to Apple last week. We will send out a press release once we’re official. Stay tuned!

In the meantime, please visit us on iTunes and leave a review and rating. We need to have a large number of reviews and ratings in order to remain relevant on the iTunes ratings. If you like this show, this is a great way to show your appreciation. It would also be a personal favor for us. The majority of ratings (not rankings) as well as reviews come from our show before August 3, 2008. Rightfully so, it was horrible and deserved twos and comments about vomiting hot dog water. The shows that we put out after that were much better and shouldn’t be shadowed by negativity. I’m not saying we’re perfect, just better than what’s represented. Thank you.
