SYNOPSIS
As the remains of ADV’s rotting corpse lay festering in whatever poor environment is unlucky enough to host it, every once in a while a distribution company will stride along and take a show in hopes of raking in money that ADV could not. Martian Successor Nadesico is one of those series. A show with a good following in days when it belonged to ADV, RightStuf! has chosen to re-license and remarket the late 90’s classic. A quirky show that parodies some of the late, great, mech anime of old (Harlock, GetterRobo) Nadesico is one of the anime that if anything else is just fun to watch. The pacing fails to keep the viewers attention at times, and the writing isn’t top notch, but it wont cause you to throw things at your television.
