Moe Podcast, Moe Problems:

Who knew they’d last this long?! The Other Side celebrates its 100th episode! For this special occasion, the boys take a look at a larger problem that has plagued the entire anime industry for decades. That problem being the creatively bankrupt cancer that is moe, and all the fantasy girlfriend archetypes that come with it. Join Cody, Max, Andrew, and a SUPER SPECIAL GUEST as they examine the bug-eyed squeak toys that have permeated the entire medium of anime.

I am sorry to say but there is an anime that destroys Greek mythology, to the point where they made Athena a loli…

No more Davin Sirlin jokes? I know it would have been completely random, but nothing made me laugh as much as Alex Barry’s Sirlin jokes.

    • Careful, dude! David Sirlin Googles his own name so frequently that writing it in a comment box is the second most effective way to summon him after standing in front of a mirror in a dark room and chanting “Bathe me in the blood of scrubs!” three times. Now there’s a decent chance he’ll show up and drop a 15,000-word dissertation on how he could’ve made a better podcast. Let’s just hope he’s too preoccupied working on his latest article for, On Balance and Design in Biological Systems: Why All My Ex-Girlfriends’ Vaginas Were Absurdly Huge.

(For those who don’t know, David Sirlin is so monstrously egotistical that he once attacked a lesbian for stealing his haircut. The man is so outrageously hyper-competitive that he once paid a stranger $500 to fist him up to the elbow in order to prove he was tougher than a puppet.)

Do you think moe themed anime could have been influenced by betty boop?
