Brad Paisley ft. LL Cool J – Accidental Racist

SUMMARY:

Unfortunately deemed as “the best sci-fi manga in years” by some guy at Viz who should’ve kept that to himself, Terra Formars is a manga best described as Fist of the North Star meets outer space meets Scrub Me Mama With a Boogie Beat. What would normally be an unremarkable (if somewhat entertaining) action series is made ludicrous and infamous with its unbelievable balls-to-the-wall racism. And if you think it’s JUST the design of the cockroach people (although that’s a big one) you ain’t seen nothing yet. When you’ve got heroes named after Hitler and his girlfriend, you know you’ve got some serious problems. The Other Side examines just what these problems are, discusses the portrayal of black people in anime (and often, the lack thereof), Japanese xenophobia that permeates many anime series, and has a grand ol’ time mocking the racism that seems to be slathered all over this manga like butter on toast.’

  • Ryumoau

I really love the Other Side. Its by far my favorite of the podcasts on the site because it feels so different from the more cookie cutter anime podcasts on the web. Both Cody and Max are amazing to listen to. Andrew isn’t as talkative as the others but i still enjoy the few moments when he does chime in.

Keep up the great work guys! 😀

  • Emblyon

the anime where Ghandi was a pervert and jack the ripper was a good guy was nobunagun.
they also had galileo as a pink hair loli

    • Kerberous

What was so bad about Jack the Ripper? I mean, you can do whatever you want as long as no one catches you. Morality only exists to enslave us, man.

  • Mikel Crawford

I’m an African American, and I’m for caucasians saying the word “Nigger”; If we have the right to call them “Honky”, then they have the right to call us “Nigger”.

    • Normality

Yeah, I never got the “You can’t say Nigger if you’re white” bullshit either. It just feels wrong (and really hypocritical) when just a few seconds later you get called a “Honky” or “Cracker”.

      • Cody hit the nail on the head. Most racists are trying to find a scapegoat for their own problems and lash out at a foreign threat. Add a built in support network of like minded idiots and you have hate groups and Tumblr. When you factor in socioeconomic factors, you will start to see that as human beings, we are more alike than different. Even the most well intentioned person falls into the “race” trap when they use that as a way to describe a person’s character. That’s why I’m not a big fan of race in general. It strips a person of years of experience and cultural influence when you just classify them by the color of their skin. There is a lot of ignorance on both ends of the spectrum.

        • Normality

That’s true, but often race isn’t just about the skin color, it’s also about certain attributes. Espeically the more stereotypical ones (like with Aisians being smart or ‘White’ people being fat, or African-whatevers and the guns/droptops/etc.)

Thing is, you can be racist in numerous ways, it’s just easier to go after the skin color the most.

Oh and I’m calling it right now, some tumblrites will find this episode and bitch about it. Bonus points if it’s someone like ANN.

          • If the ceasefire with Zac Berschy never went down he would have lost. His. Mind. Over this episode.

        • Devin Wolfe

True it’s also used to divide a populace, a few recent examples are Ferguson, Zimmerman, and Rodney King. All of these where used as fuel for a “race war” when they where nothing but police brutality (excluding Zimmerman but he did have a cop fetish).

        • “That’s why I’m not a big fan of race in general. It strips a person of years of experience and cultural influence when you just classify them by the color of their skin. There is a lot of ignorance on both ends of the spectrum.”

I am with you on that 100%. Especially since all race is is human evolution producing different results based on geography. The only reason you’re black and I’m white is that your ancestors came from hot, sunny regions, whereas mine didn’t. I mean, that’s it. That’s literally all it is. And yet we got all this goofy bullshit that surrounds it.

As someone who has seen racism from both ends, I can firmly say that it is a stupid-ass game I have no interest in participating in. In any facet.

          • Saw this at an estate sale today, I’m told it’s a toaster cover!

    • Then I guess we’re on equal terms then! I remember my older brother always using the N word a lot as a little-snot nosed punk!

  • DarthYan

actually there are places in christian countries where genital mutilation has occurred (even in like 90% christian). I’m not even kidding. It’s more of a tribal tradition that predates islam

    • Max-Vader

The only countries in wich FGM is practiced that have more christians doing it than muslims are Nigeria, Tanzania and Niger, and they have some of the lowest amounts of FGM. Also, it predates Islam?! Wow, just like not drinking alcohol and killing for your God! I bet that has nothing to do with Islam either! Phew, we really dodged a bullet there! Thanks, cultural relativism!

      • DarthYan

On further research yes most of the countries that practice it are muslim (burkina faso, mali, somalia sierra leone are particularly bad about it).

That said, Eritrea, which is christian majority does have an 89% female genital mutilation rate; what’s more aside from Yemen the countries that carry out the practice are in Africa not the middle east.

  • KoriCongo

This was one of the best episodes yet. Did not see you guys actually enjoying it, especially unironically.

  • JeeCay

how the fuck did that get licensed? I guess the crazy pills flow freely over at viz.

    • Kerberous

It will make them money. That’s how it got licensed. I actually thought that there would be some sort of controversy or something that would further increase its sales, but that somehow didn’t happen.

  • Aythya

The thing is, bra sizing (at least in American sizes) is actually super simple, and they’re one of the most consistent types of clothing you’ll find, measurement-wise. There isn’t as much vanity sizing there! And it’s based on actual things, as opposed to things like jeans or shoes.
And yeah I guess the rest of the episode was fine too. =P

  • Hisasi Zing-Zing

But Cody, you forgot – when people who aren’t white are racist towards blacks, it doesn’t matter! At least that’s what the folks on Twitter and Tumblr told me. 🙁

Also, can you guys do another Oh, Japan! episode? I was giggling like a maniac at the last one.

    • Maybe if there’s a big influx of crazy japan stories. I think we used all the best ones last time.

  • RyanJM

With Space Dandy ending this Saturday night (or Sunday morning depending on how you look at it) I have to ask, how much are you going to miss it Cody? Personally I loved Space Dandy, sure it was wacky and lacked a plot (for the most part) but it was also just a great show: amazing art, great dub, and many unique memorable episodes.

Please tell me you are going to share my pain after the ending theme plays for the last time?

    • If the ending is satisfying enough, I think I’ll be okay with it. All good things gotta come to an end. its best that Space Dandy leave its mark on anime, and be another show that makes the medium worth watching and advocating for, rather than just force it to go on forever until it runs out of steam and becomes soulless. It had a fantastic run with a buttload of rewatchability. I look forward to the inevitable DVD/Blu-Ray release.

The only part that really REALLY depresses me is WHEN it’s ending. It’s ending at the same time as everything else good. The only bastion of quality left is Terror in Resonance. Everything else is over, ending, or going on break. Once Space Dandy goes, we got nothing left until 2015.

      • RyanJM

Well all I can say now is an absolute and utter wow!

They managed to pull together all of the threads of the series, made Dandy be literally forever dandy, and just made it a visual spectacular. By far my favorite part of the episode though was Dandy’s refusal of “God’s” offer to be “God”, the way he said it just seemed so true to his character. Overall it was just a great ending that fit the theme of the show so well.

What are your thoughts on it?

  • Guest

Wow. Are you people stupid or something? The roaches are based on homo erectus. Find one racist ccaricature that resembles the roaches as much as H.E does. The roaches are evolving a similar path that humans did. Black people were the first humans .

3 white guys trying to tell black people about racism…..wow

    • Kerberous

“Black people were the first humans .”

Neah. The chinese were the first humans.

“3 white guys trying to tell black people about racism…..wow”

      Go back to tumblr.

      • Charles Ray

        1. Chinese were the first people? Where did you get that from?

        2. I’m not a tumlubrite as those guys are PC idiots, but you gotta admit it’s rather presumptuous for a white guy to act as if he’s some sort of educator to blacks about racism. Blacks are already pretty aware of racism around the world. Try another fallacy please.

        • Kerberous

          1. From nowhere. It’s just as stupid and impossible to prove or disprove as what you’ve said.

          2. These fucking white people, man. They could never understand the pain of the poor, oppressed black people. In fact, they shouldn’t even try to understand.

          • Charles Ray

            1. So you took my advice about using another fallacy and decided to go with negative proof huh?
There is proof of Africa being the motherland and blacks being the first people, or at least there is evidence of such things. Making things up to try and invalidate my points just makes you look stupid

            2. Well, actually they can’t, that isn’t to say that whites can’t sympathize, but whites have never been oppressed to the extent and as long as blacks have so yeah they can’t actually empathize. That isn’t to say that they can’t try to understand.

Haven’t you seen the south park episode explaining this?

Though I’m not of the opinion that blacks are helpless victims as you seem to be implying that I think I do.

          • Kerberous

            1. Bullshit.

            2. They sure can’t. It’s not like millions of Irish and Jews were horribly murdered for no reason.

“Haven’t you seen the south park episode explaining this?”

No. I am pretty sure, however, that if South Park ever said such nonsense, they didn’t mean it. Guess it’s their fault for not making autistic-proof satire.

          • Charles Ray

1.Dude, a simple google search will do you a lot of good but since you’re too intellectually dishonest

            Here: http://www.nhm.ac.uk/nature-online/life/human-origins/modern-human-evolution/where/

            2. That’s cliche and I had a feeling you’d bring that up. Hence why I said EXTENT and DURATION. I’d hate to enter the Oppression Olympics but here goes.

Do keep in mind that I’m keeping this in the context of america. I’m not denying the Irish were oppressed, but they weren’t to the same degree and not as long blacks. And even after slavery ended there were still segregation laws and the whole Jim Crow shit that ended barely a century ago. Was segregation of the Irish and non Irish ended in the 60’s?

Do you really think that oppression of the Irish can compare to the one blacks have felt?

Besides in what way are the Irish even remotely oppressed today? And when was the last time they were?

            3. And now, they did mean it It’s the “nigger guy” episode.

          • Kerberous

            1. I’m pretty sure the word “intellectual” wants a restraining order. And yeah, who needs proof when you can do a google search?

            2. oh boy you really are the biggest autistic around here since devin but tell me are you white because if you are white then how dare you comment on the poor oppressed black ppl because you cannot under stand their suffering!?

Oh, and there was this little thing called the Roman Empire that didn’t really care about the skin colour of their slaves.

          • Charles Ray

            1. I provided with proof/evidence for you, the rest is up to you to fix your own ignorance since you won’t take it from me

            2. I’m Black, not that it matters. Also I never said white aren’t allowed to comment on racism. Even if I was white I wouldn’t be saying anything blacks don’t already say.

            3. “Oh, and there was this little thing called the Roman Empire that didn’t really care about the skin colour of their slaves.”

I just said I’m keeping it in the context of America. You’re doing this on purpose aren’t you?

          • Kerberous

            1. I won’t take your ignorance from you? Pal, I never wanted it.

            2. Except you pretty much did. You also agreed that they shouldn’t even try to understand.
“it’s rather presumptuous for a white guy to act as if he’s some sort of educator to blacks about racism”

“Well, actually they can’t, that isn’t to say that whites can’t
sympathize, but whites have never been oppressed to the extent and as long as blacks have so yeah they can’t actually empathize.”

            3. And where do you suppose the people living in America came from? They didn’t come from the Moon. I know because I checked both google and wikipedia.

          • Charles Ray

            1. Research the subject yourself and you’ll see the evidence

            2. But it’s true, white people of today (or even back then) can only sympathize with blacks, they can’t empathize.

            3. That doesn’t matter. Because I’m talking about america and american history. The fact of the matter is within the context of america blacks have had it the worst.

I’m not debating the rest of the world or the rest of history, you’re just trying to conflate things to make black slavery look relatively insignificant.

          • Charles Ray

White people in america are not oppressed, prejudice against them is increasingly becoming fair game(not that I agree with that), but it doesn’t compare to what blacks have and still do deal with.

          • Kerberous

            1. I’ll google it to the best of my abilities.

            2. Do you even know what the Roman Empire was? Or how long it was around?

            3. Let’s try this again… The Roman Empire ruled the world for way over 1000 years; the Roman Empire didn’t give a shit about what skin colour their slaves had; the Roman Empire enslaved both white and black people for over 1000 years. Assuming that America was/is a melting pot, I’m gonna say that both white and black people know how bad slavery is.

And shame on you for even suggesting that I’m making black slavery sound like nothing. In conclusion, go back to tumblr if you want to be a special snowflake, you psycho.

          • Charles Ray

WRONG. While I’m sure america has some people who have ancestors who were slave both white and black which one do you think is most recent and most pervasive in modern society today?

I really don’t think any white person in america(or blacks even) are still feeling the sting of slavery…..from another country(empire)…..that has been dead for 1000’s of years.

No one in america faces racism and discrimination because of because of what happened in the roman empire. That’s why whites can’t claim empathy.

Because most of america’s history blacks have been seriously screwed over hence why we have the race relations we have today.

Do white people have grandparents that faced Jim crow?

This all goes back to my point, keep it in the context of america, because the slavery of other places has no effect on what happens here.

          • Kerberous

You really do like to prove people right, don’t you? How the hell does this show manage to attract all these autistics?

“I really don’t think any white person in america(or blacks even) are still feeling the sting of slavery…..from another
country(empire)…..that has been dead for 1000’s of years.”

Because white slavery suddenly disappeared with the Roman Empire. Oh, and do you still feel the sting of something that ended in the 19th century? Pretty sure you don’t. Stop acting like you’re some poor, oppressed black guy because society doesn’t kiss your ass.

“This all goes back to my point, keep it in the context of america, because the slavery of other places has no effect on what happens here.”

Again, I find it amazing that you still can’t freaking realize that America isn’t made up of people from the Moon.

          • Charles Ray

Ok, answer me this, how has white slavery(throughout the world and time) impacted whites in america and does it compare to what blacks have faced?

I ask because unless whites actually still feel the fallout/aftermath of that racism their ancestors went through, they can’t validly empathize with people who actually still do.

BTW I don’t see myself oppressed for my race. Nor do I expect society to kiss my ass for my race, that would be dumb.

          • Kerberous

“Ok, answer me this, how has white slavery(throughout the world and time)impacted whites in america and does it compare to what blacks have faced?”

Most of the immigrants came to America because of their poor living conditions and to get away from some sort of abuse. And yes, it does compare, because suffering is suffering. Both white and black people have suffered throughout the ages for similar reasons. If you want to continue this oppression olympics, be my guest. It still won’t make you look like less of a twat.

“I ask because unless whites actually still feel the fallout/aftermath ofthat racism their ancestors went through, they can’t validly empathize with people who actually still do.”

NOTHING BAD HAS EVER HAPPENED TO WHITE PEOPLE EVER. THEY CANNOT POSSIBLY UNDERSTAND WHAT WE’VE BEEN THROUGH. I’m gonna keep shouting that because you’re incapable of understanding. And these white people that you obviously hate, they’re also the ones responsible for actually ending slavery. How about that?

“White people in america are not oppressed, prejudice against them isincreasingly becoming fair game(not that I agree with that), but it doesn’t compare to what blacks have and still do deal with.”

You make me sick. You’re a disgrace to anyone who has ever fought for freedom anywhere in the world.

“BTW I don’t see myself oppressed for my race. Nor do I expect society to kiss my ass for my race, that would be dumb.”

Bullshit. Everything you’ve said before this proves the opposite. You can backpedal on tumblr all you want, I’m going to call you out on that shit here.

P.S. You should give whoever typed your later messages a medal. I would have puked on the keyboard before even considering to type some of that shit.

          • Charles Ray

Answer the question I’m not going to humor your intellectual dishonesty, I’ll ask again

How has white SLAVERY through the world affected white Americans today? What negative repercussions are whites still facing from slavery?

          • Charles Ray

“Most of the immigrants came to America because of their poor living conditions and to get away from some sort of abuse.”

That doesn’t answer my question. People who willingly come to a country doesn’t compare to people forced to come. You basically just proved how the experience of whites and blacks in this country don’t compare.

Also please note that EMPATHY and SYMPATHY are 2 different things.

Of course white people can sympathize with blacks, all decent humans being would. but it’s can’t be empathy because the history of whites and blacks in this country are both fundamentally different.

          • Charles Ray

Serious question…are you retarded? Every one in the world came from ancestors who’ve suffered somehow, but some have felt the effects longer and stronger than others.

If you have to look outside of America and 1000’s of years in the past to pretend that white and black slavery are similar you are an idiot.

Whites aren’t affected by slavery to this day. Blacks are. That’s why they can’t truly empathize.

          • Charles Ray

            You never answered me.

Who experiences racism more, white(“bread”) Americans, or African Americans?

            And why?

          • Devin Wolfe

You’re wasting your time Cody doesn’t deal well with criticism so he’ll most likely not answer you.

            Edit: Disregard this.

          • Max-Vader

            That’s not Cody.

          • Charles Ray

            His/her point still stand sthough

          • Charles Ray

LOL, I’ve noticed. Shame such irrational people exists and have a platform to spread it.

          • Charles Ray

“And shame on you for even suggesting that I’m making black slavery sound like nothing. In conclusion, go back to tumblr if you want to be a special snowflake.”

If you weren’t then excuse me for that, but what you are doing is disingenuous. White people in america DO NOT know what slavery was like, granted neither do blacks but they are the ones still dealing with the aftermath, they are the ones actually affected by American slavery.

It’s AMERICAN (not roman empire) Slavery that got AMERICA to where we are.

          • Charles Ray

Are you disagreeing with the fact that the Irish didn’t suffer as long or as much in america as blacks did? Are you disagreeing that the Irish didn’t have to suffer decades of systemic oppression after being freed?

    • Devin Wolfe

I like this guy,can we keep him?

      • Charles Ray

Thank you. But unfortunately, I can’t stick around for suck toxic stupidity.

        • Kerberous

Well, your sheer insanity and lack of emotions at least got me 2 hours of laughter, immediately followed by intense disgust. Bye bye and break fast.

“I can’t stick around for suck toxic stupidity.”

Don’t worry, I’m sure anyone who has ever had the pleasure of seeing the shit you type thinks the same way.

          • Charles Ray

Lack of emotion? What are you talking? Specifically where have I expressed a lack of emotion? When I said historical white americans haven’t had it as bad as blacks?

You just have been replying to my comments just to antagonize me. You haven’t made a coherent argument throughout either discussions.

So unit you have a valid argument, again fuck off and fuck you.

Get at me with valid arguments and not trolling.

          • Charles Ray

You never did answer my question. How has slavery negatively effected white people today?

Spoiler it hasn’t. So whites can’t empathize with blacks, but they can sympathize.

Not all suffering is equal as cody agrees. So just because whites have had certain parts of history sucks doesn’t mean they are the same.

          • DraculaMarth

Kerberous, you can’t win a debate with crazy people

  • Guest

Your logic is off. U say mr popo isn’t racist because he’s not human. But neither are the roaches. Ive noticed that white people like to cry racism on stupid things. U guys are totally projecting

  • Guest

Black people were the first people on earth..the roaches are on a similar evolutionary line as humans. So the hair makes sense. But really? Is that all u got? The hair? They look 100% like H.E and more so than any caricature of blacks.

U guys are just projecting. U seem to have some sort of white knight syndrome for blacks.

Roaches are brown so how is it strange the formars are brown too?

The series has roaches evoling into humanoid form and your trying to logically argue how the exoskeleton should be segmented? Wow your suspension of belief is off.

You guys are extremely presumptious. You make these big assumptions because he’s Japanese. U guys are just putting word and intentions in the authors mouth.

Your logic is off. Uncanny valley for racism? You know there are several instances where.the roaches hold the guns right you know?

Now you guys try to make up a connection with aids and the roaches?

You guys are major league projecting. I think you guys are the racist ones

    • Guest

All insects can’t feel pain. Insects live extremely short lives so they have no need to feel and learn from pain. Also the moss is what what gives mars it’s new atmosphere for them to breathe.

    • U seem quite buttmad and unaware of the definitions of “projecting” and “white-knighting”. Perhaps U should spend less time whining about people making fun of your favoritest anime manga showses and sign up for a remedial English class.

      • Charles Ray

So in other words you have no actual rebuttal. LOL I guess that means I’ve won when you resort to attacking my grammar instead of my argument.

“Projection is a defense mechanism that involves taking our own unacceptable qualities or feelings and ascribing them to other people.”

So yeah. You are a possible racist trying to call out the apparent racism of other people.

As for white knighting, I’m aware of the typical definition, hence why I said, “for blacks”. Forgive me, I just don’t take kindly to stupid people, you know that “2/3” you mentioned, you 3 seem to be apart of it.

        • Of course I don’t have a rebuttal for you. You’re barely literate, trying to call me a racist, say things like “lol I won”, and make 4 seperate buttmad little comments. You’re not worth the discussion, kiddo.

          • Charles Ray

I’ll admit, those comments weren’t the best written, did those on my phone with scattered thoughts while at work.

So let me try this again. I’m going to delete those comments a rewrite a more substantial one.

      • Charles Ray

Don’t say your willing to discuss if you don’t mean it. It makes you look dishonest and cowardly.

I bet you didn’t expect anyone to even really disagree with you.

  • Charles Ray

1.What country would you rather be depicted as the villain? If it was Russia or Germany you’d just say they’re being racist to them and trying to play off the stereotypes of Nazis and the Soviet union. If it was America you’d say that they’re trying to play off the stereotype of Americans being a bunch of imperialistic douches.

    2. The way the roaches were holding the guns hardly resemble the way gangstas do, they were slightly tilted with their heads also slightly tilted. They look more like psychos than gangstas

    Does this

    http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h298/mitraillette/Carmelo-With-Gun2.jpg

    Look like this?

    http://www.projectafterforums.com/index.php?act=attach&type=post&id=31656

    3. The language is not a bunch of clicks, you’re just making that up. The roach language is also not a stereotype of any African of tribal language. Homo erectus and other early/pre humans used things like clubs as weapons.

    4. As for them sitting in the car, that was to make them look like bad asses, not black people

    5. Homo erectus do have COARSE hair (that’s what it’s called BTW) too

    6. The roach virus is not a reference to HIV, you’re grasping for straws there.

    7. All insects (all invertebrates too, I think) don’t feel pain(thought it’s still up for debate), or at least not the same way mammals do. They have no need for it, they live really short life so there’s no need for them to feel pain in order to learn from mistakes, If anything they learn through evolution.

    8. Don’t you find it a least bit presumptuous to be telling (black) people to laugh racism off? Being that you aren’t the one who experiences it like we do?

    9. The roaches do have a segmented appearance to their exoskeleton, as seen in their knees and abs(all over actually, it’s just more obvious in those parts.

    10. You assume he’s one of those japs who think the japs are “the chosen people” but then later one reflect on how much they don’t do that.

    11. Your own prejudice is showing. You go on a little racist rant about how xenophobic the Japanese are and then use that as your basis to justify your assumptions about the mangakas. You sound like feminazis, SJW, PC cops, and tunblrites except instead of white people yours are Japanese people.

    12. You note how china and Russia have both done terrible things to japan, but seem confused about why the Russians get depicted as the bad asses, did you ever think that maybe the authors weren’t trying to make any country look better or worse out of some sort of national grudge?

13.To my knowledge(correct me if I’m wrong) there is no racist caricature that look like the T.F as much as the H.E, not even close. So why they remind you of blacks says more about you.

    14. If this is the worst they’ve made since old astro boy cartoons(which was a long time ago) is Japan even doing all that bad with racial portrayals? I can think of several positive (or at least neutral) portrayals of blacks in anime then I can negative.

    15. You’re told about how little fan service there is yet accuse him of having a white fetish just for making a badass female? She isn’t the only female bad ass in the series.

You excessively pad descriptions of the roaches with your own stereotypes, you exaggerate absurdly to the point where it’s seems you’re projecting. You take them as an opportunity to dish out racial jokes of your own, which really shows who’s probably the racist one here.

All that doesn’t really mean anything since you refuted you’re own podcast in less than 6 min. You said “If you find Mr. Popo offensive first of all you’re stupid, he’s not even human”

Why does this not apply to the roaches who are…ya know, not human?

Now, please discuss as you said you are willing to do.

    • Charles Ray

The only valid thing you really said was the whole Adolf and Eva thing. That was in poor taste.

    • Kerberous

Lemme guess, you think that Evangelion and Steins;Gate are the best things ever, right?

      • Charles Ray

EEHHGG!!! WRONG. I’ve seen neither. I just dislike invalid arguments. I like Terra Formars and all, but the claims of racism are invalid, this podcast takes it to a whole nother level. He’s making arguments I’ve seen no where else.

Now please at least address one of my points.

        • Kerberous

          “EEHHGG!!! WRONG. I’ve seen neither.”

Why do I find that extremely hard to believe?

“He’s making arguments I’ve seen no where else.”

That’s because most anime fans are idiots and pedophiles. But please go back and listen to some of the older episodes, they’re guaranteed to make you happy.

“Now please at least address one of my points.”

What points? All you’ve done is prove that you’re a butthurt fanboy.

          • Charles Ray

“Why do I find that extremely hard to believe?”

Because it conflicts with your rationale

“That’s because most anime fans are idiots and pedophiles.”

What I meant by that is even with all the people screaming racism, I’ve never seen someone accuses the authors of fetishizing american women despite the Monique fan service.

            “What points?”

            The ones in my OP

“All you’ve done is prove that you’re a butthurt fanboy.”

For what? Trying to have a rationale discussions/debate as Cody said he’d be willing to have? All you’ve done is prove your in capable of anything other than ad hominem.

Please if you aren’t actually going to at least try and refute on point then please don’t bother anymore. You’re clearly not interested in a debate, but maybe someone (Even Cody) still is.

          • Kerberous

“All you’ve done is prove your in capable of anything other than ad hominem”

My what is in caplabe of nothing but ad hom?

Oh, and you’ve left plenty of proof that you’re just another butthurt fanboy.

          • Charles Ray

If you aren’t interested in a reasonable debate/discussion, FUCK OFF!

            You have nothing to add.

          • Kerberous

            “What are you talking about?”

What are YOU talking about? You said “your in capable of anything other than ad hominem.” The possessive your actually needs something after it to make sense.

            “Such as?”

Your posts. Absolutely everything written in all of them.

          • Charles Ray

I was going to actually respond to that but I’ve come to the conclusion you’re either an idiot or a troll. So…fuck you.

          • Kerberous

Does the little baby need his milk?

          • Charles Ray

See, you’re incapable of making arguments. All you do is throw insults.

Tell me, what is wrong with point #5?

Cody said H.E don’t have coarse hair, but some(a lot) totally do(did). So I objectively proved him wrong, what do you have to say to that?

          • Kerberous

“See, you’re incapable of making arguments. All you do is throw insults.”

this coming from the guy who couldn’t type a coherent sentence to save his life doesn’t know the difference between your and you’re and said previously said fu. does your hypocrisy have limits? obviously not.

“So I objectively proved him wrong, what do you have to say to that?”

you sure did… because hey you lived in those times and know exactly how the supposed h.e looked acted dressed was oppressing the orange h.e and etc.

          • Charles Ray

” does your hypocrisy have limits? obviously not.”

            There is no hypocrisy

“you sure did… because hey you lived in those times and know exactly how the supposed h.e looked acted dressed was oppressing the orange h.e and etc.”

You just invalidated Cody’s comment about their hair then…so? Cody was trying to say what they looked like too know? But he wasn’t there either right? So that means he can’t claim racism based on that.

And also there is evidence of what they looked like. Educate yourself. You don’t have to be in that time to have an idea what happened, ever heard of evolution?

But it all makes sense now, this whole time you’ve been calling me a fanboy this time while not making a single argument, when in reality YOU’RE the fanboy, a fanboy for Cody/The other side/Anime3000.

How rich. You felt threatened when someone dared to logically engage in a debate he invited and now you’re doing all this.

          • Kerberous

Oh yeah, the big bad baby that wrote paragraphs of nonsense is accusing me of being a fanboy for making fun of him.

            “Educate yourself.”

            You first.

P.S. I do not remember what Cody said about the hair. I honestly don’t really care. There’s something wrong about any human being who can look at the “bugs” in Terraformars and say they’re not some racist caricature.

          • Charles Ray

            Point taken

          • Charles Ray

So you are getting involved in an argument you don’t even know the details to? LOL.

“say they’re not some racist caricature.”

Prove it. They look like H.E for a fact, there are pics of them all over the internet.

What caricature have you see that look as identical to the roaches as H.E?

I have a feeling you’re just mindlessly agreeing because it’s what Cody says. They are based off of H.E for a fact.

          • Kerberous

“I have a feeling you’re just mindlessly agreeing because it’s what Cody says.”

What would the Other Side do without me?

“What caricature have you see that look as identical to the roaches as H.E?”

What the hell does that have to do with anything?

“They are based off of H.E for a fact.”

Sure. The author just made them act and look like black gangstas by accident.

          • Charles Ray

“What the hell does that have to do with anything?”

You keep saying they look like a racist caricature, what racist caricature have you seen that makes you think that?

“The author just made them act and look like black gangstas by accident”

You might have a point if what you’re saying was true, at no point do they look/act “gangsta” it’s not like they have sagging pants and du rags.

Have you actually read/watched the anime/manga or did you just take Cody’s word for it?

  • Think I’m Big Meats

    “Michael Roachards?”

  • Charles Ray

    Signs cody is projecting:

1.Verbosly accuses and genrlizes the Japanese about how racist they are which is pretty racist himself.

    2. Nit picks the smallest details and twists it to be racist. not even the most pc sjw have done that.

3.uses these apparent instances of races to make a bunch of racists comments and jokes but you’ll probably use the excuse of satire or irony.

So yeah you are just projecting. You should really deal with that racism

  • Charles Ray

Yep. The series is still not racist and you’re still projecting your own racism.
