A Conversation with Helen McCarthy. We experimented with a new idea of having more of a loose conversation about various anime topics. These topics ranged from the iPad, moe, the feminist movement, Summer Wars, My Neighbor Totoro and Yona Yona Penguin. Joining us this week, we have Michael Pinto from anime.com, Tim Maughan from Timmaughanbooks.com and of course, Helen McCarthy.

As well as writing about anime and manga on his own blog as well as magazines and websites on both sides of the Atlantic, he also writes science fiction, with his first work published in early 2010 and more to follow later this year.
